Guns and Mental Illness has torn the country apart about. Gun violence and the mass shootings across America are now a major topic at in the White House. The president is calling
for stricter gun laws, but the gun owners and the NRA ( National Rifle Association) say otherwise. The individuals doing these killings are said to have some sort of mental illness, or personal issues from childhood into adulthood. Since Columbine, to the Oregon Universities mass killings, Universities, elementary schools, and other facilities that had mass killings have been on the rise. Is Guns or Mental Illness the real problem ?
The republican party, and the democratic party are at odds about passing new restrictive gun laws. Hillary Clinton believes that stricter gun laws would be a plus to help slow down the killings in America. Donald Trump even has his own views about guns, and mental illness relate to mass shootings in America. Mental Illness and guns don’t go hand and hand. Who do you blame for the mass shootings in America the gun owner or the mentally ill ?
America is at odds with adding gun laws to slow down mass shootings. Americans shouldn’t be at odds with helping folks with mental illness. Guns don’t kill people people kill people !
